AECB Carbon Calculator webinar (with TDUK)

The AECB Carbon Calculator is a stand-alone tool that lets you model the whole-life carbon in your designs and assemblies.

By estimating the amounts of embodied carbon in different parts of a design, the tool can support architects and engineers in making lower carbon decisions.

For manufacturers of timber frame systems, trussed rafters or joinery, carbon values can be calculated for assemblies and sub-assemblies made up of several products with EPDs.

On 14 February at 1–2 pm, Timber Development UK will host a webinar introducing our members to the AECB Carbon Calculator. Speakers Charlie Law MIEMA, ICIOB, CEnv, TDUK’s Sustainability Director, and Tim Martel, AECB carbon calculator developer, will introduce the tool and demonstrate how it works.

This is a great opportunity for all architects, engineers, specifiers, quantity surveyors, clients, and manufacturers who want to understand how to calculate carbon.
