Three more AECB members successfully complete our course.

Congratulations to Anna Lewis, Mischa Hewitt and Elaine Butterworth who recently received their certificates.  They are now eligible to be featured on our website in our dedicated ‘Graduates of AECB CarbonLite retrofit training’ area here. They will also have the certification logo displayed on their listing in our Member Directory.

Anna Lewis is an AECB member from North Wales .  She joined the course with a view to retrofitting her own home and is currently involved in building a Passivhaus new build with her husband who is a Passivhaus consultant.  Anna was impressed with the structure of the online course which made it easy to navigate and dip in and out of.  The quizzes which check understanding at the end of each lesson were very useful and she says:

“The course was well organised, managed and structured which ensured it was not overwhelming.  Some of the building physics was challenging as this is not my background but I have been able to use some of this knowledge with our new build Passivhaus.  One of the most useful parts of the course for me was the introductory lessons which give a background on retrofit and government policy.  This has enabled me to be more confident when engaging in conversation with others and spreading the message.  The quizzes were a brilliant method to gauge my understanding of what I had learnt“.
