Everyone deserves a home that works around them. A home that balances beauty and functionality. A home that looks after the earth without costing the earth. A home that nurtures and nourishes: physically and mentally. Simply put, a home that makes for a better future.
We have worked with hundreds of people across London to extend, alter or refurbish their property and create harder working, healthier homes. We think we can help you too.

Reworking and extending to bring light and green inside.
Our clients, a young couple, bought a tired property in a Walthamstow Conservation Area needing modernisation. They wanted to transform it into a comfortable house with a fresh modern appearance that fit their healthy lifestyle. They also required additional space for a larger flexible living area connected with the garden.
With time and budget constraints, we focused on the aspects of the project with the most transformative impact. We modernised the existing rooms, enlarged the rear bedroom windows to improve the visual connection with the garden, and moved the kitchen from the front of the house to the new rear extension. By not extending full width, as initially thought, the clients understood they would not only reduce the impact on the adjacent properties and increase the chance of planning approval but enjoy a better-quality space.
In London Fields’ creative district, two distinct property owners embarked on a collaborative project. Through innovative design, the development maximised potential by adding an extra floor and optimising space. A central circulation core allowed efficient movement while ensuring ample natural light. The project’s unique character and functionality cater to the target creative market.
This unique project, in the heart of London Fields’ creative sector, involved adjacent live-work units owned individually by a furniture maker and a group of video makers. Although experts in their respective fields, neither had experience with multi-unit development. The project presented several challenges and concerns from our clients, which we addressed with creative solutions, expertise, flexibility and collaboration.
A contemporary version of the local vernacular architecture.
Set within a conservation area and surrounded by listed buildings in a small village in Kent, the site is long and narrow, bound by roads at either end.
Currently occupied by a small cottage and outbuilding, the proposed reorganisation of the site would bring vehicles through the original entrance off the main road.
The proposal is a contemporary version of the local vernacular architecture: a 21st-century interpretation of the traditional materials in the area: Kent peg tiles, reclaimed red brick and timber.
