Who are we?

SPERA has been born out of the requirement for a tier 1 UK contractor for energy efficiency and ICF construction.

Having operated for over a decade and with a combined experience of over 50 years in this fast developing sector we are synonymous with quality & delivery with clients such as the Ministry of Defence, RIBA,  Amey Defence Services, County Councils and private individuals who require comfort in the knowledge that they can relax and enjoy their build.

What we offer.

SPERA specialise in the supply & installation of Insulated Concrete Form Housing (ICF), a building method, which although widely used in Europe for several decades is only now gaining in popularity and awareness within the UK market due to its ability to offer significantly higher levels of energy performance. Other construction benefits are also provided when compared to slower, more traditional approaches to building.

In conjunction with our manufacturing partner’s, with whom we have the sole UK rights and a reputation for quality delivery, we can offer a range of off-the-shelf housing solutions to suit a variety of needs and budgets. As standard the properties are all designed to

• Contribute to improved internal air quality in conjunction with a fully integrated MVHR system

The ICF system can also provide the basis of attaining Passivhaus standard and can be integrated with other system components such as insulated Base & Roof elements which aid to airtight construction.

Individually designed properties and extensions to existing properties can be easily accommodated should you have your own plans.

SPERA also specialise in the provision of other energy efficient technologies to compliment your build such as solar PV, ground source heating, MVHR, rain harvesting and high specification doors and windows.

How we deliver

SPERA operate on a nationwide basis using strategically placed installation teams and supply chain partners with whom we have developed relationships with over several years.

In addition to the support provided by manufacturers we have our own award-winning architects should these be required but remain happy to engage with your design team should these already be appointed. To accommodate these different routes, we can either offer a full turn-key package or alternatively a supply & installation only service which can provide the building envelope in its entirety or just a four-walls only solution.
