Hi all,
A quick question about using Air Admittance Valves (Durgos) in a Passivhaus. (Note that the drain will be ventilated with an external open vent at the end of the run.)
Are there any implications for airtightness and airtightness tests? I can't find information on the opening pressure apart from one test document which seemed to suggest it was sixty-something Pa. Can/should I seal AAVs during testing?
Thanks in advance,
Andy
We seal them and also make sure traps have water in.
Nick
