In trying to eliminate thermal bridging, I am struggling to find a neat and effective solution to accessible thresholds in masonry construction.
Part of the problem is the bridging of the cavity (or more usually partially bridging the cavity from the inner leaf) with some form of insulation which needs to be able to take normal floor loads and linking with the cavity tray.
Does anyone have a good solution for this problem.
Thank you,
Haydn Bennett
