Does anyone have any advise or precedent for Internal Wall Insulation systems for solid masonry, where internal brick piers must remain exposed (required under listed building consent). I realise it is a thermal bridge/ potential condensation risk, are there any suggestions for mitigating this risk whilst retaining the existing character of the barn at the conservation officers requests?

Solid brick 220mm thick, internal brick piers 600mm x 600mm

I am working with a listed barn conversion so EWI is not really viable.

Any suggestions/insulation products/examples would be most welcome.

      Many thanks,
      Eve
