Newbie question on AECB standard vs Passivhau

Hi there I’ve just joined the AECB as a client as I’m planning a low-energy/Passivhaus new build this year.

With that in mind, I see on the site that AECB makes a distinction between the AECB Standard or Passivhaus standard.

Could someone enlighten me on the main practical differences between these two standards, in terms of design and build?  Especially since the AECB standard uses the PHPP?  TIA
