Tagged: retrofit underfloor heating
I am in the process of specifying a low carbon retrofit of my detached brick and block house in Kenilworth Warwickshire. The house was completed in 2000 and the ground bearing floor slab contains 50mm of Jablite Insulation. I am proposing to install a wet underfloor heating system (e.g.Polypipe / Nu Heat?) for the ground floor
My question is should I consider insulating on top of the existing concrete floor and under the underfloor heating system and if so, what product should I consider?
I would be grateful for any advice from the AECB community
