I have been specifiying a partial fill concrete block cavity wall:-
Gypsum plaster 13mm
100mm 7N standard concrete block
150mm celotex Rcw3000
50 mm low emissivity cavity
100mm 7N standard concrete block
13mm sand cement render
Can anyone explain why different calculating softwares come up with totally different results
Builddesk U3.2 reckons this comes out at 0.018
whereas celotex believe I can acheive the same result with only 110mm
both software packages seem to be catering for fixings and air gaps
Any one know of a software package I can trust.
Paul
Sorry Paul
Re-reading this, I have assumed you are after a u-value of 0.18W/m2K. – Have I got this right?
