Interdisciplinary Design for the Built Environment (IDBE)

The ‘Interdisciplinary Design for the Built Environment’ (IDBE) Master’s and Postgraduate Certificate programmes at the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership are accepting applicants through 01 June.

The IDBE programmes follow a part-time course of study, with a mix of residential weeks in Cambridge (six for Master’s students and two for PgCert students), online and tutor-supported learning. The programmes are structured around emerging trends in the built environment and address today’s opportunities and challenges, including: sustainability and resilience; health and well-being; energy efficiency; conservation and heritage; stakeholder engagement, and political and regulatory changes.

The IDBE prepares professionals with the knowledge, understanding, skills and competencies necessary to achieve effective collaboration within interdisciplinary teams.

The IDBE programmes accept professionals from all disciplines relevant to the built environment. Applicants must have a minimum of three years of professional experience and typically range from early to senior career stages. We strongly encourage all to apply.
