Who are we are and what do we do? 

Our events are aimed at everybody who has an interest in the future of sustainable construction, from local policy makers to homeowners, self-builders and contractors, to architects and engineers, all are welcome to speak, listen, learn and collaborate.

Our sessions will aim to cover:
Passivhaus and AECB Building Standards and Case Studies
Practical/technical sessions ie natural building materials and methods 
Sustainable Design and Engineering
Environmental issues and policy
Site visits

Meet the group leaders:

Steph Coward

Steph from Beltray Construction is the facilitator for the events, with a background in law and marketing, bringing people together from across the industry to share experience of using and incorporating sustainable practices.

Beltray Director Paul has a successful background in piling and foundations at Taurus Piling & Foundations, now moving into superstructure to offer an end-to-end environment-conscious local homebuilding service. At Beltray Construction we are at the very beginning of our journey into sustainable building, currently training until May 2020 with Futureproof at The Green Register in Bristol in sustainable, low-carbon building practices for new build and retrofit.


Phil Bristow is a well-established architect at both Eleven10 Architecture and Dandelion Seeds Architects, with a diverse client list that ranges from local Government to individual residences, and a project portfolio that spans the full breadth of the construction sector in Taunton and London. Phil has a keen interest and a wealth of experiece in eco-friendly sustainable design, and is a founding member of The Dandelion Trust – a newly created charity.
