Who are the AECB ?
The AECB (Association for Environment Conscious Building) is a network of individuals and companies with a common aim of promoting sustainable building.
Running since the 1980’s the AECB are the largest and oldest network for sustainable building. The AECB is run by its members and is an independent, not for profit organisation.
What do we do ?
We bring together contractors, trades people, self builders, architects, designers, engineers, manufacturers, housing associations, local authorities and academics to help develop, share, train and promote sustainable building best practice. We promote excellence in design and construction.

Company members receive a listing in our highly searched Members Directory to showcase themselves, their products, services and projects. There are many opportunities for a company to raise its profile through our Newsletter, social media platforms, events and publications. Members receive a membership certificate and are also able to use the AECB logo for stationery, website and promotional material.
CERTIFY YOUR PROJECT
The AECB has its own building standard and members can access and download the AECB’s Design and Construction Guidance and start their project. The standard is aimed at those wishing to create high-performance buildings using widely available technology at little or no extra cost.
