SOS – Save Our (Earth)Ship!

Help Earthship Brighton in the final week of its fund-raising campaign for vital renewables upgrade. Off grid and off the beaten track, Earthship Brighton is a unique venue set in the stunning Stanmer Park, Brighton. Earthships enjoy the weather by plugging into nature, collecting rain from its roof and electricity via solar panels.

Since 2006 the building has held a series of short term leases on the land it was built on. Last year the Earthship was offered a 20 year lease from their landlords, Brighton & Hove City Council. With the ‘security of tenure’ the innovative eco-building – a hub of natural building education, courses, and events – is now planning its next phase. Earthship Brighton is asking for your help to make much needed upgrades to the life support systems of one of the city’s most unique venues for conscious and environmental architecture and building.

Over £4000 has been raised so far (this will go to upgrading the water filtration system). Earthship Brighton needs your help to stay open and continue to inspire future conscious builder for a sounder and greener environment.  Find out more here.
