Who are we and what do we do?The AECB Brighton group (Brighton sustainable building group) monthly meet-up provides an informal opportunity to discuss sustainable building practices, techniques and technical issues. Professionals and non-professionals are equally welcome! The evening is useful for architects, building contractors, clients and associated trades, as well as self-builders, DIYers, in fact anyone involved in the sustainable building sector. All are welcome!
When do we meet? Every third Wednesday of the month, from 6pm until 10pm at the Lord Nelson at 36 Trafalgar Street, Brighton BN1 4ED, just down the hill from Brighton Station. The pub does a good selection of food, and you’re welcome to eat during the meet-up.

A a software developer with an interest in building physics. I’ve carried out a couple of domestic retrofits, and my house has been included in Brighton and Hove Eco Open Houses . I work on software for energy usage and air quality monitoring. I also consult in related fields, such as IT infrastructure energy reduction.”
