The AECB works with our members to inspire, develop and share sustainable building practice. Our Standards are a key pillar of the deployment of environmentally responsible building practices and the creation of sustainable low energy, low carbon buildings.
The AECB has several Standards that each give building professionals and homeowners alike flexibility in helping the country to reach net zero targets. These are supplemented with further building guidance on Water, Airtightness and Daylighting.
Our sister organisation The Passivhaus Trust was set up in 2010 by the AECB to take responsibility for promotion and deployment of the Passivhaus Standard in the UK
