East Sussex AECB Group holds quarterly networking meetings in Lewes, bringing together people involved in retrofit to share experience and to build the local supply chain. We work in collaboration with Lewes Climate Hub and OVESCO, our local community energy company, and plan to hold regular events to promote retrofit to the wider community. Ian McKay is a practicing architect, sustainability consultant and visiting lecturer/tutor at a number of UK universities. He was a founding director of the small but influential architectural practice BBM Sustainable Design and has recently set up the sustainable design consultancy, Deeper Green. Ian produced the illustrations for the Lewes Home Retrofit Guide (2024).
