This will help build practical know how in modelling thermal bridges in PHPP, in the Areas tab, and begin to grow your knowledge and confidence in designing for multiple dwellings or larger buildings, starting with the Addl Vent tab.

Tim Martel has worked as a Chartered Architectural Technologist and Passivhaus Designer, he is a Retrofit Coordinator with a background in calculations through commercial R&D. Tim is an expert in PHPP energy calculations for new and retrofit projects, embodied CO₂ and PAS 2035 calculations, software and moisture issues.
Tim is author of the AECB PHribbon software used with PHPP, and a standalone embodied CO₂ calculator.
Tim has also helped develop our AECB CarbonLite™ Retrofit Foundation course and Coordination course, and has experience of delivering tutoring via our AECB webinars, our Whole Life Carbon Assessment course and Certifier CPD programme.
Having been an important part of the AECB Experts group for many years, Tim is expert advisor on the AECB CarbonLite™ New Build and Retrofit Standards and is also now the Programme Manager of the AECB Approved Certification Group.
