Our work is focused on helping clients deliver buildings that comply with Building Regulations, respond to planning policy requirements and perform better in use. We have a strong interest in fabric-first design, low-energy building principles and the practical steps needed to reduce energy demand, improve comfort and support the transition towards lower-carbon buildings. Our services include SAP assessments, SBEM calculations, dynamic thermal modelling, thermal bridging calculations, U-value calculations, planning and energy statements, air testing including Pulse testing and sound testing. We advise on a wide range of performance issues, including insulation strategy, glazing performance, airtightness, thermal bridging, overheating risk, ventilation, renewable technologies and compliance pathways. We regularly work with project teams from early design stage through to completion, helping them understand how specification choices affect energy performance, carbon emissions, comfort and regulatory compliance.
