An ecological approach to the design of the built environment is at the heart of our work. Sustainable construction, creating buildings in a way that can be sustained, is an inherent part of a rational approach to Architecture. In a developing field, we maintain a flexible and progressive approach, avoiding prescriptive solutions. Programme, budget and the clients own priorities all form part of the context for each particular design. We have particular expertise in using ‘natural’ building materials to achieve high performance buildings with low ecological impact and healthy internal environments.
