Nordic Energy supports local authorities, housing providers and delivery partners to plan and deliver heat decarbonisation at scale. Our digital modules focus on two of the hardest challenges in the transition: low-carbon heat networks and place-based domestic retrofit. We provide practical tools that bring together data on buildings, heat demand, network opportunities, grid constraints, costs and delivery pathways—turning policy ambition into investable, deliverable programmes. Our heat network module supports early-stage opportunity identification, zoning, techno-economic assessment and delivery planning. Our place-based retrofit module enables street-by-street prioritisation and coordination of measures, with a strong focus on improving health outcomes through warmer, drier homes, better indoor air quality, and reduced fuel poverty, alongside carbon reduction. All of our work is designed to align with the UK Warm Homes Plan, supporting strategic planning, efficient targeting of public investment, and scalable delivery models that reduce energy bills, cut carbon, and improve housing quality.
