We are a small independent architecture studio based in Manchester. We believe in thoughtfully curated environmentally conscious community focussed bold and beautiful buildings for everybody. Established in 2022 we set up Common Practice to challenge the convention that small budgets mean small ambitions. Based in Chorlton Manchester and offering services across the Northwest we work with homeowners businesses self-builders and community groups to help take everyday projects from the average to the exceptional. Our aim is to provide thoughtful well considered architectural solutions which meet the requirements of our modern world.  This means embracing sustainable low-carbon construction looking at ways to improve biodiversity and working closely with the communities and neighbourhoods our buildings call home. We pride ourselves in having an honest and conscientious approach to every commission we take on and being passionate about the buildings we design means we are as invested and excited about your project as you are.
