Fabric Space

Fabric Space

Bio

Fabric Space has established a diverse portfolio including individual interiors, residential schemes, workspaces; education, community and cultural buildings; public realm and landscape projects. We encourage broad thinking across architecture, interiors and placemaking and the common thread that shapes our design approach is a focus on users - founded in strong working relationships with clients. We work closely with clients to test and develop their project brief to ensure the vision, design and technical considerations make the most of a project’s potential. Our clients recognise our commitment to pursing the right strategic solution as well as our attention to detail that informs a well-considered transformation of their site and property. Our approach supports the need to create environments that meet social, cultural, educational and business goals; and most of our work involves adapting existing spaces and buildings for more sustainable use. A number involve listed buildings and settings requiring a sensibility toward heritage whilst integrating contemporary design and new activities. All projects involve retrofit solutions working with the existing building fabric to improve the performance of a building envelope - seeking a balance to meet client needs, budgets and environmental improvements.
