Repurposing office block to high quality apartments
A 1960's built office block converted to 58 high quality one and two bedroom apartments in the heart of Sheffield. A back to brickwork strip out followed by a roof extension to provide an additional floor plate, new lift structure and lift equipment. The existing load bearing internal walls were reconfigured to suit the new layout and the existing cavity wall was infilled with loose insulation. Internal wall and floor insulation was added and along with air-source heat pump water heating. Extensive fit out with new internal walls, bathroom and kitchen fit outs with high quality fittings and equipment. Recladding and high performing windows achieved EPC ratings A-C.
