Multi-generational extension + upgrades project with mini retrofit section

A faded period house, has been given a new lease of life with modern upgrades + a modest side extension. Mini partial retrofit to the existing solid stone walled Victorian house. Part of the existing house was insulated to improve the energy efficiency and air tightness of the old dwelling. A new solid limecrete floor with underfloor heating + natural cork wall insulation have been used. These methods help keep heat in the building but also allow the fabric of the existing building to remain breathable, which prevent damp problems occurring.
