Listed farmhouse barn extension

We were appointed to help the client add a bedroom and create a new reception room. Our clients agreed to our plan to remove various earlier extensions. This re-established the original form of this attractive farmhouse. We proposed a new two storey extension taking the form of a contemporary barn conversion. A double height glazed link connected the original farmhouse to the new barn like extension and provide space for a bright new entrance hall and glass staircase. As we had consulted thoroughly with the planning department the proposals sailed through planning to obtain Listed Building Consent first time.
