Sports Changing Pavilion for Dormers Wells High School
Cayford was architect and PHPP modeller for this robust & thermally efficient sports pavilion. It is certified to the AECB CarbonLite New Build standard (formerly AECB Silver) Constructed with fully filled masonry cavity wall with a striking cantilevered cross-laminated-timber (CLT) roof with mechanical ventilation heat recovery MVHR the building achieved airtightness of 0.3 ACH. Key Outcomes: A well engineered building fit for purpose blending in with the new school building. (Cayford was formerly Client Design Adviser to LB Ealing's Building Schools for the Future) programme.
