Underfloor insulation in a timber suspended floor. Victorian terrace house, with an inadequate cavity beneath floorboards, so we had to dig the whole area out. Telescopic air bricks installed. Floorboards retained.
Loft insulation in Victorian terrace house, where the client wanted to retain loft boarding for storage. 2x 100mm of hemp cross-layered over ceiling joists, leaving existing 80mm of mineral wool between joists in situ. Loft stilts installed and one-third of the loft area boarded.
