AECB Webinar: Building Design for Heat Pumps

The AECB are excited to announce the next session of our webinar series ‘Building Design for Heat Pumps.’ This will be on Thursday 30th of March at 12.00 pm, and is a 45 minute presentation followed by a Q&A discussion. The second speaker will be Will South, who will be discussing the building design for heat pumps and the practical considerations on existing and new buildings for architects and project managers. He will also be focusing on the components and characteristics of heat pumps.

Will is a Director of Etude, Passivhaus Certifier, Passivhaus Designer and Mechanical Engineer focusing on building fabric and heat transfer. Will has a particular interest in achieving energy performance in practice, with input on quality assurance during construction. He has previously helped manufacturers hone their design for thermal performance, and contractors meet Passivhaus airtightness requirements.

This webinar is free for AECB members and Passive House Plus subscribers. For non-members it costs £25 ex VAT.
